Started in 2025 and run by volunteers, the Abthorpe Historical Archive (AHA) exists to preserve the unique and irreplaceable heritage of the village of Abthorpe, to make it accessible to everyone, and to encourage engagement with Abthorpe heritage.
It currently holds over 350 original documents and photographs relating to Abthorpe and its residents dating as far back as 1650.

Access to the Archive materials
Catalogue Download the most recent catalogue by clicking the link below. It will download as an excel spreadsheet which you will then be able to sort by using the filters, and search using the 'find' function. The spreadsheet will be updated whenever new donations are added to the archive.
Viewing The Archive will next be open on: 5th August 2026 from 2.30 - 4.00pm. Viewings outside of the Open times are by prior arrangement.
